BallongMagasinet is an artist-initiated sound gallery based in Oslo, Norway. It began in 1996 as a weekly radio program, broadcast on a local station. Now it has been transformed into a Real Audio performance on the internet, where we feature nordic and international artists. Our policy is to present a wide range of sound material — historical and contemporary, international and local; catchy, narrative, noisy, playful, etc. — with contributions from artists, composers, musicians and others.
